How to crop, trim videos and capture pictures from videos on Mac OS X
If you want to edit your movie before converting it, iSkysoft iMedia Converter for Mac provides your with various powerful functions including:
1. Trim DVD or Video
If you want to capture a clip from the current title/chapter, you can click the
button to open the Trim window and trim the current title or chapter.

In Edit panel, there are 3 methods to do the Trim job:
Method 1: Input value. Input certain time number in Set start time and Set end time fields manually.
Method 2: Drag the sliders in the playback progress bar to set start time and end time quickly:
Method 3: Insert trim start and end flags when you are previewing an video file in Edit panel.
2. Crop DVD or Video
As long as you click
, you will get this video Edit panel.

Here, you are allowed to crop video by the following methods:
Selecting aspect ratio
There are 6 options in Zoom drop down list: Keep original, Full screen, 16:9, 4:3, Letter box and Pan&Scan.
Drag cropping frame
Move your mouse cursor onto one of the eight small adjustment boxes on the cropping frame (the dashed line) and drag the crop frame to crop the video. The cropped result will be shown on the Output Preview at the same time.
Set the values
Input numbers in Left, Top and Cropped size fields or clicking
button to adjust the value in each field to resize the cropped area.
3. Video Effect
If you want to adjust the video effect of your movie, you can click the
button and drag each effect adjustment slider to set the video brightness, contrast, saturation and video volume.
You can also choose a special effect from the Effect drop-down list to apply to your movie.
