How to rip DVD and videos to all iPod, iPhone, PSP, Zune, etc. on Mac OS X
This tutorial will show you how to convert DVD movies to the video formarts that compatible with all the popular portable players.
Step 1: Load DVD Movie to iMedia Converter for Mac
You can click on
to load DVD for conversion.
After a DVD or several video files are imported successfully, you can see all of them listed in the program:

Step 2: Choose the output format
Choose the output format you want. iMedia Converter for Mac supports all popular video and audio formats including AVI, MOV, MPG, MKV, ASF, MP4, VOB, FLV, 3GP, MP3, MKA, etc. You can choose the output format eaisly by selecting the profile from the "Profile" drop-down list .

After you choose a format from Profile list, it is the time to check out the Setting panel:

- Profile: Click here to know which formats Total Media Converter supports.
- Settings -> Video: Set video encoding settings by selecting a resolution, a frame rate, a video encoder and a bit rate.
- Settings -> Audio: Set audio encoding settings by selecting a sample rate, an audio channel, an audio encoder and a bit rate.
- Apply to All: Check this option to apply the current profile to all the files.
- Merge into one file: Check this option and the program will convert all the selected video files into a single file.
Step 3: Start Conversion
After all the necessary settings and editing job, the last step is clicking "Start" button to fire up this powerful conversion machine!

- Show Preview: Check to play the file in the Preview Pane during the conversion.
- Shut down computer when conversion completed: If you check this option, this program will automatically shut down your computer after the conversion is finished, so you need not wait around your computer.
- Open the output folder when conversion completed: If you check this option, when the conversion is completed, the output folder will be opened automatically.
